History of The Intel CorporationThe Intel Corporation is the largest manufacturer of computer devices inthe world. In this research paper I lead discuss where, ehrn, and how Intel wasfounded, the immediate effects that Intel made on the market, their marketingstrategies, their competition, and finally, what Intel plans to do in the future.Intel didnt just start out of thin air, it was created after Bob Noyceand Gordon Moore introductory founded Fairchild Semiconductor with six other colleagues.Fairchild Semiconductor was going pretty well for about ten years when Bob andGordon decided to resign because they were tired of non being able to do thingsthe way they wanted to they proceeded to establish a new integrated cicuitselectronics company. Gordon suggested that semiconductor memory lookedpromising enough to risk startle a new company. Intel was born.Intel made quite an impact on the industriousness soon after it was founded.The sales revenues jumped enormously through Intels I nternational exspansion tomany countries including atomic number 63 and the Phillipines in the early 70s. From1969 to 1970 Intels revenues went up by almost four-million dollars Today,Intel is one of the biggest companies pulling in billions and billions ofdollars each year.Intel has had many factors over the years that has allowed it tomonopolize the computer industry thus resulting in small competition. First ofall, Intel is almost 25 years ahead of its competitors. Therefore, mostcompanies are just starting out and have infinitesimal or no effect on Intels sales.Another reason is obviously Intels reputation. They have built up such astandard of excellence that when psyche hears the word Intel they think high-quality.Intels popularity, reputation, and revenues are a direct result oftheir marketing strategies. Again, one of the most important factors that hasmade Intel so sucessful is their reputation that has been built up since theystarted. The Intel Inside program which was la unced in May of 1991 was apromotional campaign that placed the Intel Inside Logo on all computers
